Video mounts?

yes i used the search function but the questions i had were not answered..

i just bought a real nice VidCam recently ( yes its a hard drive/ SD Card unit).. i know the hard drive cameras are not ideal for bike use due to vibration/ shock but its what i have

obviously ... where is the best place to buy?


is there a shock reducing unit available?

I got a JVC camcorder recently and it's best to use the sd function to record rather than the hardrive cos as you point out... vibration.

I ended up with a Ram Mount you can secure to your handlebars. Trouble is, if you are like me and I believe you are than you will have your suspenders fairly tight which means the inevitable vibration.

To much rubber and then you get too much wobble. Not too many options to get around this I'm afraid, unless you mount the whole contraption to your body.

ive got a nice 18 gb SD card with the camera .. ive seen a mount from sportbikecam that looks good... mounts to the tank but dunno how bad the vibration is on that one

why not just use a bullet cam on yer helmet?? can still use your cam to save the data
