9-10 April
Alpine express is Wiaouru on the desert road October which is where Desert storm used to be. Desert storm is now April Ohakune side.
Don't ask me why, but it is a great 2 day ride with camping food show & stuff sat night.

Not from welly, but I'll be there with a few mates, we had a blast at the Alpine Express (also organised by epic events) so we're looking forward to it bigtime. Gonna try & get set up with a big tent & barbie etc.
Jimmy & Starlic might be coming up from welly tho? Should get the KB'ers together for a beer at some point.

If you see me say G'day, I'm easily recognisable - the slow one on the big KTM, rego 88WGN - I'm usually the only one at trail rides with a #plate!

OK I’m on a Yellow GasGas200 with a white number board instead of a headlight so there can’t be too many of those either.

Can only ride 1 bike at a time
I'm going up using borrowed bike - gonna do some filing with helmet cam. I'll come with you if you have room. Share the bills etc. I live in Newlands which might be inconvenient.
