What happened was you were having far too much fun while I was busy getting your bobby pins out of my washing machine pump!![]()
Definately a warning sign. As soon as you get cocky or complacent...WHAMO! I hope it never happens to you again. Coulda been a whole lot worse. Just stay alert.
Oh and btw...just cos u have fancy broadband doesnt mean you should post huge pics. Some of us are still on dial up ya know.![]()
Geeezzzzz Lexie, ain't my visits on crutches a loud enough warning for ya :P
Im glad your ok though! Its amazing that the damage was minimal, last thing ya need is your mode of transport taken off ya
I'm contemplating posting photos of my injuries, but i don't want to put off the whole community lol!
Hey Cheshire Cat, that road is notorious for oil/fuel on the corners. I try to leave it till after mid-day at this time of year to ride on that road. Glad you came out ok, but it really could have been so different. It would be good to go back and have a look at the corner tomorrow if you can. Is it the one near the top on Whakatane side?
Glad you are ok!
Hey Cheshire Cat, love the attitude considering what has happened.
You got away lightly and was able to get home. Get back on that bike and take those corners again without coming off. Like you say it is all about the learning experience. You should be able to get your line and speed right to allow you to take the corners safely.
Good luck.

"read what Steve says. He's right."
"What Steve said pretty much summed it up."
"I did axactly as you said and it worked...!!"
