    Dammit Honda

Once again, Honda are making life difficult for themselves.

They're fluffing around hiding concepts and sketches of what the new VFR1000 will look like.

What's wrong guys? Afraid it's going to look something like these two monstrosities?

    Well never fear.

I have gone to the effort of doing all your market study, research and design for you. For no financial benefit of my own, I stress.

So when you start producing these babies next year can you put me at the top of the list? I'll call it a laptop and put it on my student loan somehow. Course related costs I suppose - gotta get to uni somehow.

Stop pissing around with the dreary IL4 trash you've made over the last few years.

We want our real bikes back.

I'm sure it did not take you long to produce that

V4's are so, like 1980's man.

Actually I am surprised there are not more V4 bikes - possibly the engine costs are a lot more than the good old IL4?

VFR 1000 NAKED - now that would interest me.

I suspect HD may produce a V4 sometime soonish. They could easily do a sport version under the MV banner and a grunter under the HD label.

    Yes.

Honda did get the RC30 and NC30 very, very right.

The first pic has some OK aspects, but is too much VFR800xFirebladexDN01.

Do something new and styish Mr Honda, but FFS give us our VFR thou already!

(I need something to lust after for when I find a real job )

what about the RVF?! that was going well into the late 90's

and have you looked at the new R1 motor? it is basically is a V4 crank in an inline package - funnily enough it's knocked the 'blade from the top spot and reviewers can't get enough of the apparently awesome sound it makes

probably an idea they've had tucked away for ages too, just waiting for the right time to release it.

I don't think Mr Honda knows which way is up, at the present.
There has been whispers of the thou' Viffer for a while and I still wait and will only believe it when my arse is placed upon its seat.

Wise approach. Half the world was anxiously awaiting the much rumoured V5 to no avail.

BIKE says that Honda have confirmed a new V Four but I guess I'll believe that when I see it.

For the poster that wanted a naked V Four - Aprilia may soon have just that very thing...

if they wrap up the corpse of Soichiro Honda in copper wire and put magnets around his coffin, they could power all of their factories with the electricity from him spinning in his grave

I like it... apart from the fact that the human body dosen't have any angles or flat surfaces...
Hopefully that is comfortable to sit on and ride?
