Soooo...nothing YOU did contributed to this state of affairs huh?

Ah well, it IS the 21st century - where it's always 'somebody elses' fault.

Not at all.. I've never denied speeding.

I will be going to court to see what evidence he has that I was speeding though. I'm pretty good at court

So in effect you handed him your licence?

Why say he was responsible for your predicament?

Oh, and good luck in Court, keep us posted how it went.

Because a good bloke wouldn't have even pulled us over to start with. We weren't hooning round corners dragging knees, or popping wheelies, overtaking cars ten or twelve at a time, riding at the limit of the road/motorcycle..

Having met quite a lot of policemen that ARE good blokes in the course of my job, it seems all the ones I meet when I'm not at work are grade A cocks that think their mission to nick people 'speeding' is the be all and end all of police work.

    But...but.. you WERE speeding eh?

The impression I get is that speeding should be allowed as long as you not not hooning, knee-draggin, popping wheelies etc.

Somebody is then going to argue you should be allowed to hoon, knee-drag, pop wheelies etc as long as you don't speed.

The law's the law - even if you don't think it's fair.

And yes, MY thoughts are that certain bits of the law IS (are?) an ass.

Why can't overzealous officers like the ginga one be sent to Dallington? At least their keen eye for the law could be put to use doing something useful - like catching Mellory Manning's killer..

If everbody drove sensibly, didn't break the law or crash they probably could do 'something useful'....

They go heaps faster than that (the derestricted one I tried did) and if you were doing 141Kph, there goes your licence

No, they're too far gone for that, they'd just move up to become tax inspectors or parking wardens.
