Does anyone actually buy these bikes brand new? Seems to be the same price as the 250.

First time I met the machine was yesterday.

The 125cc has just been approved to run in a bigger class of racing (150cc maybe - don't remember for sure) but they expect it to dominate. And it's a big market in Europe.

I personally would choose it over a scooter.

I pretty much like the RS125 for its size and replica to the 125 we have in the motogp.

They are in the same league as the 250's, some would say above them even. The RS125 minus the Euro# (whatever level they are up to now) restrictions happily put out 33bhp at the wheel all day long. When you consider the weight difference between the RS125 and any modern 250 (keeping in mind it's probably 20kg+ lighter than a hyobag of similar power), these little pocket rockets are designed to run rings around 'modern' 250s.

Not only that, but it comes with much higher quality componentry, mostly handed down from the RSV1000 in some degree, and it actually looks half decent too! (ok, its a horny wee thing!)

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

    Mmmm

    Sexy little thing isn't it...
Aren't the pillion pegs a little optimistic? Just make them go away, put a stinger in place of the massive alloy tube, and it'd be the ducks guts...

Yup there was a man hooning on one at the vmcc round 2 on the weekend, initial reports are that corner wise it is wicked, no ground clearance issues, suspension is far more planted, feels safer to push the boundaries.

The rg150s are just pulling away in a straight line though, unsure if this is because of factory imposed restrictions, that it is a brand new motor or it is just slow.
