Not a bad part of the country aye If you took your time to take the countryside in an adv rider could speed a couple of weeks down round Otago easily.

If you can't find the CD it is pretty easy to get the Garmin update to run as a complete install. The update download is actually a complete install and the "security" is unbelieably easy to work around.

Well once you hit the SI the Molesworth should be open, the Rainbow will be open, Mangatapu, Port Underwood, There is a few good roads (paper and gravel) around north canterbury, Lees Valley, Porters Pass, Lake Lindon/Lake Colderidge Roads, Inland Rd (seal unfortunatly) down to Fairlie then pick your way throught the back roads down to Fairlie or just ride the seal which aint half bad (some nice curves).

    Cheers R

I see a road book there fellas, will there be or is there a GPS track or log of this ride? I dont mind using either really but the GPS will be nice, guess it will have to be in a few parts though given the number of waypoints?

    Thanks...

Def will be GPS route to follow. Will probably do a couple of versions one that is maybe 5 routes with 50 points and one that is two parts with 250 points or something like that.
