    Trucks with two linked trailers?

Joining the motorway I check my mirror and look over my shoulder. What appears to be a single trailer truck passes and I look to ease in behind it before accelerating to pass it. The second trailer is so far behind that it is easy to miss. Slipping in between two trailers is something that I really would like to avoid. Admittedly when it happened to today it was on a bend which helped to conceal the second trailer but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced the same problem with these huge vehicles?

It would be nice if there was a way of identifying them from the front or side of the first trailer.

    Faaark, just me then.

IMO - I take a pretty good look but I am not as flexible as I used to be.

Perhaps a little more caution is called for. I hate these extra long vehicles and have missed the second trailer more times than I would like to.

Thats what Im thinking, I used to drive bulkies for Regal a couple of years back it had a long draw bar for good reasons, bikes tended to get way to close to the rig, if shit hit the fan I would come of just fine poor bikie guy would be introduced to about 20 odd tyres with about 30 tonne on them.

Give trucks a wide berth, they are sensitive fuckers to drive and not very manoeuvrable at all
Ive run out of fucks to give

And aint they fanatstic to watch!!!!
Have been at a road works area on Stop and watch the driver reverse in, dump the load from the rear trailer then almost 'jack-knife' it out of the way and empty the front trailer...brilliant to watch really.

What about a truck followed closely by a car? I suggest taking more care - maybe even stretching exercises for the neck muscles so you can head-check more easily.
