Anyone put 17" Tard tyres on a DR650?

..for the track, looking to do this, advantage with a 17" rear is already there, has anyone bought another front wheel or respoked a Dr hub to 17" tard rim?

I guess in essence I am wondering the most economical way to set it up as a tard track bike for fun and adventure riding and I am sure I won't be reinventing the wheel here.

See if I can buy another set of wheel or something to start with

Have done the searches but screeds and screeds of info come up but with no real answers.

Again, input would be great, many thanks Andi

    Obscenely Quick

Send Denniso a PM as he also has a DR650 set up with slick tyres which he still rides on gravel at an amazing pace.
Here for a good time, not necessarily a long time

If you're wanting to have two sets, cheapest will be to go the way gazbur went. GS500 wheels do well, and people say the SV rims work but details of that one are sketchy
