Matt Biff, Matt, means you can easily hide it in the event of a war
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

You can clearcoat matt, you add a flatting base, but it'll go milky if you use too much.....
Personally,on something as big as a beakbird,I'd go with gloss.

I'd go for gloss - the "black mirror" look. I'd also get custom detailing in gold - black and gold looks great - possibly a thin stripe parallel to the edges of the fairings, mudguard, round the tank etc.

now that would be cool - go all out and spend more than the bikes worth and get it fully stealthed out...... the mil-spec coatings and all

short of that i'd go with the gloss as a good clean and it will look mint as!! its really hard to keep a nice finish on the matt and it shows up any tiny imperfection, gloss makes it look like they are supposed to be there!?!

mmmm shiny............ chrome stikery flames would look cool, that dude on trade me does them specially for bikes....

The "choice" of colour scheme question surely is academic until you know whether or not your insurer is going to write said bird off? If its arse is as unaligned as your earlier posts suggest, I think you'll find the bird may be going to that great aviary in the sky...
