    we do it all the time at work, once i drove a car to the painters with no doors no front guards and no winshield, i was sitting on a nail box and had no seat belt on.

    I have seen rope attached to both wipers, then into the drivers and passengers windows, said driver and passenger pulling rope to and fro - wiped the windscreen a treat.

    Drove a ute from just out of Darwin to Rockhampton no screen, all good until an idgit opens the door while doing 80mph darn near sucked us all out the door..
