Scorpion slip-on mufflers, 09 R1?

Has anyone put a set of scorpion mufflers on there on there 09 R1.
Bin looking at getting a pair for mine and just wanted to know what you guys thought of them.
Was told they would set me back around $1500.
Are there any others brands around that price i should be looking at and who i can get them through?

Maybe PM Robertydog, he has been looking into it extensively as I understand, he has just bought a black '09 R1, think he has Akrapovic's coming for his bike.

Edit: Hope he does'nt mind me blithering all that out on here...

what about a set of yoshimura pipes. I will get ya a quote tomorrow. I run one on my GSXR1000. Sounds awsome.
I take it you are only after slipons?

2bros bro. Ive got an alloy 2bros can on my rf and it's real nice, sweet music eminates from my rf like no other.You cantgo wrong chum.

On my gsx Im running a custom sort of setup. You could allways try making some if you have the skillz?

Gidday. Although I'll come across as basis, you have to try Two Brothers. RRP $1399 - $1769. In stock now. Also have Juice Box Fuel Controller computer & K&N filters due here in 3 weeks. Contact me for a dealer who can supply direct to you. I started importing Two Bros after I bought a used 05 R1 with imported Two bros pipes on. The new R1 sounds incredible with the Aluminium, Titanium or Carbon Fibre pipes on. You will not be disappointed. I’ll guarantee it....
