    Achieved the Holy Grail

And got my full licence out at Porirua today. Pretty long test , lasted for 40 minutes and took me all around Elsdon and out to Tawa. Only made one minor screw up and the tester told me I had a good ride which I was real chuffed with.

Now the fun begins looking for something a bit bigger. Looking around the 600ish cc , not sure what yet. Will see what the shops have and go for plenty of test rides.

Possibles are sv650 or er6-f. We'll see.......Anyone want to buy a used Honda......

    Congrats.

40 minutes is a long test. You must know what you are doing after all.

    Ride safe.

Well done! I remember mine, 40 minutes in such a bad rain storm it felt like I had taken a shower. Ah the memories. Aint it great to realize you can now legally ride any bloody thing you like?

    Well done!
Now comes the entertaining time of not having to worry about "silly yellow square" requirements, but having to be careful of throttle twisting excesses...

Well done on that, best advice I heard after passing was,"you're not invincible now you have full license, you keep learning each ride"pretty true years later.

    Enjoy the rides.

As a side issue I seem to see heaps of people riding near new 250 whilst restricted and then upon passing want to upgrade,my idea is grab a offroad type 250 till full is passed, then upgrade but keep the offraod bike,my reasoning is offroads are slightly cheaper and fun at beaches forrests etc.
