    What a MANUS!

So the story goes, i finally did my full licence yesterday (july 1) after waiting for soo long to get it because you see i decided to purchase a brand spanking r6 from henderson yamaha after being convinced (it didnt take much convincing) by the owner, who happened to be on my course to buy it! this was almost 2 months ago and havent really ridden since because i thought i would be good and wait to ride the bike till i had my full and was insured etc

Anyway have been counting down days/hours till test, picked up a loaner from henderson, pass the test, but in all the excitement of passing/being able to ride my bike, i left the temp licence in the instructors car

I dont find this out till i drop the loan bike back at henderson and go to sort out the insurance, realising that after searching for ten mins in my jacket that i had already lost my licnece. WHAT A MANUS!!!

-i have since got a replacement temp licence and am fully insured and fully enjoying my bike

Well done on getting that license and having the fortitude to not be an idiot and ride without a license. Keep your head with that new weapon, nice and easy does it.

BTW was interested in some of the questions they ask you for insurance purposes - like 'Have you ever ridden without a license or with the incorrect license' - 'Have you ever recieved a speeding ticket' etc. Glad I still have a clean record.

How frustrating must that have been!

You're a responsible and good person and wait patiently for so long to get to ride what is in my opinion one of the finest bikes ever made, only to have to wait that tiny little bit extra longer at the end!

Good on you for sticking through it though, I can't imagine much of a more rewarding reward than a brand new R6.
