    Roger that.
However, I will head out for a shorter version if the weather starts to clear later in the morning, for anyone interested.
I may not be as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I always was.

I think the tipping point for me was the page from Coastguard advising of 70 knot winds and the phone call asking if I could help shift the rescue boat to a safer berth!
And I'm the call out skipper for tonight.......

Spent the last five hours on a brush cutter, and saw, fighting the left side of the drive way, so even if i wanted to ride in the rapidly approaching shitty weather, I couldn't.
body is bruised, shattered, and knackered. where did my youthful energy go to?
(will take me several days to recover)
    good call Ian.

Well I managed to get the bike running, but it needs a bit of tuning. And the weather here is rapidly turning to crap. Has warmed up a bit, but looks like rain setting in, and getting windy.

May need to go for a short ride to adjust the carb if it clears later tomorrow.

Well, I give up on weather predicting, my names obviously not Jim Hickey! As far as next week goes, I can't guarantee to be available for next sunday as I have a bit to get done before the MMMM but, if we're happy to plan with that in mind i'll post up another thread for the 19th.

Let me know by monday night.

Yep, I was right....1150am this morn, it was dry and the wind gone....
By that stage though I had lost the enthusiasm...
I did get wet, the floor in my office was a little flooded.....Bugger!
