    bump....

    hi all, having an issue with an alternator on a 1995 cbr1000f
    the bike doesnt charge and the battery is pukeru too so i thought a might be in for a reg/rec
    being a honda an all, but a local auto sparky whose also very bike knowledgable tested it
    for me and say no power coming from the alt windings, so........ wheres the bestest place to
    send it for rewinding? if ken cairns in hamilton is still doing them ill ph him monday morn
    or anybody else recomended? dont know of anyone in hawkes bay doing it.
    also, are the windings inside the alt cap/cover? o id just send that whole thing away?
