I give in - pics of the new bike

Here's my new toy. '06 BMW R1200GS Adventure. Only 14,000km on it when I picked it up.

Nice and comfy, ABS, onboard computer, 33 Litre gas tank. Caribou cases on the way from the states.

    Scuse the mobile phone pics.

Have to get around to selling the KTM!

Very very nice. 33 litres? Gosh it's as big as my mother's Nissan March's!

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

Gee, that looks... really really heavy.

You'll be doing a lot of fast comfy miles on that thing - seal or no seal. Good buy!

Funnily enough, it weighs similar to a busa, blackbird, gsx1400, cb1300...

Just when the tank is full it's fairly high up heh.

    Surprisingly nimble too.
Been commuting on it. Lanesplitting is like the parting of the seas when they see you coming hehe.
Pity the pics dont really give you an impression of the size of the thing.

I must say that this was one of the strong contenders last year when I was looking at what to buy.

    Great bike, well done.

Well done. I've always thought about getting one of those and really exploring the South Island.
