After the old man put his back out on the CT110 he got a Suzuki LT250 2wd Quad (still sitting in the shed but who wants to ride about on 4 wheels). Not long after we got it, the curious 11 year old that I was, though I'd see how well it went in mud and through the boarder dyke head races (no comments necessary Mark). Got onto the head race OK but the mud in the base was about a foot deep and the quad wouldn't climb out (steep slippery side). OK go along the race till I get to a flatter bit - couple of hours latter there was a very very muddy quad and I was shattered from pushing the bloody thing. Finally got it out so took off to the nearest water trough and started trying to wash it so the old man didnt figure out what I'd been doing to it. I didnt manage to clean it very well so got found out and was banded from riding it for about another 6 monts. He wasn't too pleased about his new $6k ish quad being covered in mud. I was back to the CT110 for a while.
Cheers R

I was out at the farm on Saturday, getting firewood, so thought I'd dig out my 2nd bike. I would get the hand-me-down farm bikes when I was young, and they spent more time in pieces than running.
Mismatched tank. Dog chewed seat. Chopper style bars (looks like it's been dropped about 63 times on each side).
Started second kick. Couldn't believe it.
13500km by one careful owner.
You can still buy these new. What a machine.
you be able to hand it down to your son mate...
