    havent looked at the maps cause there really are only so many routes before you are going on a day trip to get what should take a couple of hours. If I am in a hurry I will come striaght up to levin the sh57 theough to AshHurst (note the 2 H!!) and on to feilding. if not then takas andup that side although that can get old fast unless diverting out alfteron way.

    Anyhow, I am sure one of the above maps will be awesome. the whole point of this post is to spell Ashhurst properly............

    Many years ago, Sam Hunt was stopped by a cop in the morning on the Himitangi straights.

    Sounds like a reasonable response, but 'Foxton Straights' was used by Mr Hunt as an adjective for???....Surely there must be someone else out there that knows this?
