A solar-powered vibrating codpiece (with CE armour) takes a power of beating.

    Nice boots, cammo.

I was reading recently that if your gear is really good, then you won't even notice it or think about it at all while riding, like, "Damn! I wish the palm of my glove wouldn't do that!" or "Hmmm... my helmet's pressing on my forehead - must give it a tweak..."
On that basis, my boots are as comfy as old slippers, and I never think about them (except when water runs into them). My gloves I very occasionally think about, I usually have to adjust my helmet, and my pants bug me sometimes because the kneepads press on my knees, or the circulation in my legs gets cut off, or the seam on the left leg gets uncomfortable. My jacket is excellent, but I may have to zip/unzip the vents if it's too cold/hot, or adjust the neck fastening for the same reason. Sometimes too the shoulder armour may need a slight tweak. However, of all my gear, I most appreciate my jacket (Teknic Hurricane, much customised) and wonder what the heck I'm going to replace it with when it is beyond repair. It's warm in the winter, cool in the summer, waterproof, well armoured, and very comfy.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Shouldn't that be, "saves a power of beating"? :spudwhat:

Depends on the accessory pack chosen. I prefer the possum-merino lining.

My favourite gear is my waterproof, insulated Spidi H2OUT glubs. Sliding my hands into them in winter plugs straight into my subconscious Freudian returning-to-the-womb fantasies.

Also, they've performed very well in a couple of bins, and they were quite cheap.
