The Tarawera 100 has rolled around once again. The date is July the 11th. It should be a good event with a few changes to try and avoid the problems experienced last year.

Yeah I'm not going for it this year. Next year I might give it another crack. I need to start hitting the gym again to get ready for any form of racing.

im out as well, too poor this year. and not prepared to have a repeat of last year. i want to see a successful year in wet weather.

good luck to the club and anyone giving it a crack though, its a great fun event to ride

why was it such a cock up last year?, i was thinking of doing it for the first time this year.

This year I'd say it will be sorted, the main issues were sign on, and people cheating.

I'm of the same irk (strange word that).
I'm sure they will get it sorted this year. Too unfit, fat, and bizzy (unfortunately) this year.

For all the noobis to this its worth doing though just to get to start with about 350 other hoons all at once. If they have about 20 starts I'd go for the adrenalin rush!!

ive just red on the website entries close on the 3rd july, and theres a $50 late entry fee which makes it $160 for a couple of hours in the bush. dunno if ill go now

well tomorrow is the 2nd.... if you post it tomorrow you're good to go.

and if you're only riding 2 hours, you're either the man / fastest guy ever, or a fucken pussy who's only ridden 1.5 laps then pulled out lol
