    Daytona 675

Got to sit on one of these this morning - just on the showroom floor, bein' as 'ow I was caging with a load of beer etc for the shop and was short of time.
Quite high off the ground. I thought that of the SVS too but this is higher still.
Also felt short from the seat to the front. Even a shortarse like myself would have his head practically right above the instruments. Felt a little weird. I think I would have trouble tucking right down onto the tank...Angle was fine, just where I was on the bike. A tall person would probably notice it more than I did.
Hafta take it for a test ride next time...

I had this feeling when I test road a K6 GSXR600 - felt like my head was hanging over the front of the bike. The 1L GSXR felt a lot better.

I think if / when I upgrade I will take another look at the 675.

As a tall person and having only sat on a D675, yes, they are too bloody small lol, so I got a D600 instead lol

But saying that, I felt ok on a street triple

As a Bohemoth, if I want to ride it, i'll make myself fit it.

He he - throw a leg over one of the Triumph Adventure bikes - you may need a small step to get on out of my bike list due to the seat height.

I love the seating and lay out of the 675, the seat is a wee bit tall but everything else is great. Short legs and arms

Guess it depends on how much posing ya want to do outside yr local cafe too aye !
Riding it is fine, knees clamp up nice and tight, it is easier to ride than the 1050, ground clearance can be changed so i hear !
Hear too that it's faster !!!
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !
