    zzr 400 convert to 600

    hey i have been told that a zzr 400 (my bike) is same as a 600 just sleved down was wondering if i got a 600 engine would i need to change anything carbs?? computer??

    surely it would be cheaper/easier to just sell your bike and upgrade?

    You'd need a full 'kit' engine... that is the loom + CDI + Carbs + radiator etc.

    Hi there all you need is 3 hours a strong mate zzr600 engine,600 carbs & oil cooler,possibly the 600 downpipe everything else is the same,remember there are two variants of zzr frames for the 400K will fit the 600D & 400N will fit the 600E.

    As said above, an easy swap, I've done it with a 92 400- fitted a 600D engine. Straight swap, but remember and fit the oil cooler from the 600 thats not fitted too the 400 the lugs are there but you need to save the mounts. Downpipes fit,but use the 600 carbs. All the electrics were a straight plug in fit.
