Well, I looked out the window, there was a break in the weather today... raced down to the garage to check the tyre pressures and thought to myself, that front Pilot Power isn't going to manage another Coro loop... it's winter.... bugga! 4400kms from a front

Ring Mike at Drury Tyres.... mate.. you got another Pilot Power there?
Nope...... Got another Pilot Road 2?.... yep ya busy? Nope... be there in a couple of minutes mate.

Got me clobber on... no sooner left the house and down she came... wet gear, dirty bike

Got the new tyre and had t ride her back with a new doughnut in the rain... fun? Nahhh

    The weekends have been shit

Not been out for nearly 5 weeks. Too much work during the week and when I get a chance to ride in the weekends, the weathers just shit.

I'm no pussy by the way. Just don't like heading out in the rain. If it's fine when I leave and I'm caught in it, then that's different but just wanting to go for a ride in fine weather so you can enjoy the corners is getting a bit scarce this winter.

I might add I'm getting a little pissed off if you get my drift.
    You're out Hunua way right?

Listen for the sound of thunder tomorrow morning a bit after 10 - you're welcome to jump in with a pack of cruisers.

Turned out to be a good day (apart from a wee bit of confusion at the beginning which saw our VIP go astray for the entire day). the only bit of wet road was from Papakura through the Hunuas.

It's one that got away mate

Yeah, it wasn't bad mate... got to scrub me new front through the gorge, to Clevedon over monument road and back the same way. All scrubbed ready for the next ride Didn't have the time to do too much more
