Treble Cone trip today (18 July)

So my wife went up skiing today, was a nice day so I went up for early lunch on the bike (I don't ski).

Smelt an incredibly bad burning smell on the way up so I stopped, looked around the bike, it wasn't on fire ... nor was I so I continued on my way.

Round the next hairpin and 50 meters up the road a Subaru had lunched itself, smoke, water/antifreeze puddle of oil, I suspect something had piled out the side or bottom ... and yeap it smelt like an incredibly bad burning smell

Got a few photies but there is nothing spectacular other than the view really, great hoon up the road.

Solid as, runs very smooth got lots more stomp off the bottom, the drilling of the slide has improved that no end.

..and yeah gotta watch the ice .. haven't found tyre that sticks to that stuff yet!!

They have in Finland and all of those colder climate countries where they Ice race....

Check it out on You tube, wicked! They have nails in the tyres, and I know of one guy who puts snow mobile skis on his KTM for the winter. Imagine that, a 450exc with skis zipping through the trees....

No way the dudes looked a little angry as it was without a kb paparazzi poking a camera in his face, I did stop and ask if they were all ok and the guy was fu$#&n C@&t of a thing bla bla bla so I rode on.... quickly
