gb250 or 500 rearset onto cb250rs?

(hopefully this is in the right section)
i am currently restoring an '80 CB250RS and have hit a snag, the rear brake pedal has gotten lodged in the rearset.
so, i thought i might take the opportunity to replace the rearsets with something different.
i have read somewhere that the gb250 or 500 rearset might fit.

does anybody have any idea?

Looking at them I would say not. The GB rearset appears to have different attachment points

the reason i ask is that there is a thread about cafe racers that hints that the gb250 rearset might fit with little to no modification.
