Do you know what duration/lift/lobe centers etc? You may be able to get a great custom grind done. Flow the head to help the cam.

Those lobe centers are silly, 106-108 would be better, my bike is running 105. The duration wouldn't need any improvement [especially considering it's measured at 1mm of lift] I would be inclined to run tighter lobe centers myself

Loads of idiots wanting to pay $6k for it, I had one serious guy but only had $7k and couldn't get any more. So I am now breaking it up for bits I think.

Shame but no one has the cash........

no there are fine for a engine making good power in a 5000-8500rpm rev range with a 720 degree firing.

That doesn't rev very high does it? I was expecting a bit more rev than that, you are right.

Dam it, should have sold the bloody thing!!!

went to put it back together after putting the new cam and cam chain in and thought i had better check out the piston while im there.

heaps of marks down the side of it and on the bore, fook it.

now its gunna need a new piston and a rod kit before the double header (levels on saturday and teretonga on sunday) this weekend.

wont know till later this morning if i can even get parts here that quick.

this one is gunna hurt the bank for sure
