The Biggest Head in the Land

    I Claim this Title !!!

Hell, I could claim the Biggest Everything in the Land title but I'll start with the head first.

My Lid is a Vega Altura 4XL imported from the good ol U.S.(of friggin)A, This is even more laughable when you consider there made in CHINA

Oh and dont even bother with the " Have you tried this lid, they make really big sizes...." the answer is YES I have and NO they don't.

Is my reign supreme and unchallenged.....who knows or care, I said it first and so I claim it

If it's not a rude question, what's the circumference of your noggin?

Mine clocks in at 65cm. That's an extremely snug fit in a Shoei XXL (the styrene liner needs some after-market percussive maintenance) and a snug fit in an HJC XXXL. I plan to import a Shoei XR1000 XXXL from the USA soon, now that I have discovered that they do "colours" (but no graphics in that size, unfortunately).

I have heard rumours of an Arai XXXXL, but in typical NZ parts department banter, that's about as far as that has gone. Even if such a thing existed, the pricing would be ludicrous, being an Arai and all.

First "hitcher" and now "Big Dave" what esteemed company tonight LOL.... isn't 4XL figuratively enough, when you consider that all the quality brands out there only go to XX-XXXL at best !!!

I think I'm justified at the moment to hold onto my self proclaimed title for now anyway.....

no not at all 67cm.....have tried the shoei, gave me self a head rush in about a minute or two. and the HJC. tried the latest shark evo which was close but still too snug and that was XXL. Vega which is far from the quality of helmet that I would care to own is the best fitting and comfortable lid i have worn too date.

Theres also a brand called Fulmer that are suppose to do 3-4XL called "fat head" or something, the problem that motorcycle shops aren't gonna carry the really big lids in stock, so ya cant try them on. (One offered to order them in) But i'd feel real bad if it didnt fit, how would they be able to sell it....
