I think it is commendable that the police officers are willing to put their own lives on the line to stop dangerous criminals.
I really do.
But it would perhaps be a good idea to introduce some guidelines so they are able to distinguish between dangerous criminals and petty offenders (yes, speeding is a petty offense - if even that).
As for going on the "wrong" side of a traffic island. If there is indeed nothing coming the other way it's hardly dangerous now is it?
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

Yes complain, it is blatant dangerous driving, if a member of the public did the same it would end in a court case...go for it ....
And remember our ACC costs when doing so, for it is mutts like this that "cause" accidents..
What the fucks wrong with this part? Or is it just adding flavour to your little drama?
BTW I do this in nice shiny red trucks also. Cool eh? I know I should really morph through the island but seeing it's clear, and no fucker would ever dream of pulling over for us as it inconveniences them, going around is much easier and more fun......or even making the traffic stop and move over like they're fucken supposed to is even MORE fun again!
Fact is, that clunker may have had someone nasty in it for all you know, could also have just been for a ticket.......
U-turn without lights on I agree was defintely a bad decision

Fix a computer and it'll break tomorrow.
Teach its owner to fix it and it'll break in some way you've never seen before.
Unless the public get off their arse and voice complaints then you can bet nothing will change. At least putting in a complaint adds to a database. Then if there is a serious accident the database can be accessed (say at a coroners inquest) to show that it is not an isolated incident but an escalating problem that needs to be addressed. It is better than having the cops say at an inquest that it is not an issue as we have had no complaints.
Make sure it is a formal complaint via a letter.
To have a cop do a u turn, in the circumstances and manner in which you describe, is simply unacceptable.
Well firefighter unless you were going to rescue a puddy cat from a tree I think you are quite justified in your actions and I am sure your woo woo siren and flashy lights would be on![]()

Could've been a shifty carload of burglar punks in the clunker. Been down the road trashing someones house and contents. Wouldn't have no fucken drivers licence or any of that shit. Cop could've found himself hassling law-abiding JoeBlow for no reason - clunker could've been rego'd and warranted . Who bloody knows. Go whiney and you'll end up with a down-turned mouth, a caustic look and a "I've been sucking lemons all my life" demeanor.
Agree with the general thoughts here but we don't know all the facts - he could have been pursuing a vehicle from a robbery etc. Make your complaint and see what comes from it.
Ha! what's the fun in thatPut in the complaint or dont bother posting about it on kb?- Was pretty annoyed this morning, but it doesn't seam like a major, that's why I posted it to get opinions.
I am all for cops doing their jobs and I can understand they need to take calculated risks to get somewhere in a hurry. If it was a simple speeding ticket or expired warrant I think he could have driven is a safer manner than he did.
When he stopped he parked behind the car, not in front of it to block a get away, and he get out with is clip board quite calmly.
i dont know why some cops are in the force when they just dont think
