Hey Guys, I'm curious to know how fast everybody has taken their current bikes? Don't forget to give the speed, make & model.
I've done 240 on my SV1000S at the Manfield open day about three months back.
I'm gathering all the replies will relate to tracks and not open roads.

200 (ish) kph, sideways at Ruapuna last week. I don't recall whether I was still attached to the bike or not. Does this count?

There's another thread on this very subject somewhere. Not many are saying much on this for obvious reasons.

True, But you can never take a comment as proof! A legitimate radar reading is required before any action could be taken.

Bah. Lightweights. I've done 350kph on the Zeal, blindfolded, with both hands tied to the exhaust headers and a full cup of Darjeeling balanced on my helmet.

Ok in answere to you're revised question, I have yet to take the bike out on the track but hope to soon. Still, I doubt I could match the speeds of some of these other riders.

I don't think I was, and kinda glad I wasn't!
Bike is with the dealers and requires plenty of work.

Yeah I saw that over Easter Weekend! Wasn't that when you opened it up on the goattrack? You looked pretty fast humming down the Ngaraunga gorge too.

Oh I see - Wipeout style! Probably best not to be attached in that case! I wouldn't want brake handles and footpegs sticking out from parts of my body either.
