    247 on one wheel.

Funnily enough, you were there Dafe. Welcome to the site buddy. (Better late than never)

I've seen redline in yop on my bike which another Gixxer 1K was timed at 296kph average on the flying quater.

I've been timed at 261 real on my old 600 which Wenier is the lucky owner of now.

Not the smartest thing I've ever done, but it was rather DANGERous in a 50 ZONE

Won't be doing that again anytime soon

[Insert mucho-smugness tinged with a feeling such a machine was wasted on my abilities]

276 at Phillip Island on McCoy's Red Bull Yamaha YZR500. I was crappin' myself I must say. The real riders were doing 310-320 in the same place. I was too scared to open the thing up properly in the corners.

radered at 235kph about 150 meters before the hairpin turn 3 at queensland raceway, had my 600 up to an indicated 264 kph yesterday on a closed track somewhere near SH1

-> been to an indicated 270 kph on my old R1 but it didnt feel safe at all

->one time at band camp the police told me I was doing in excess of 160kph, but i consider it safe because it was a 110kph zone, and i had slowed down dramatically from the 250kph i sat on for the 20mins before i rolled off the gas

Once upon a time in a land far far away where the distance is still measured in miles.

I borrowed a friends GSXR1100 and found a motorway (M62). I saw the speedo go past 190 passed a Reliant Robin. Then I slowed down. At the next services and removed the brown from my pants and vowed never again. On the way back home I didn't pass a Reliant Robin.

I managed to get 60mph out of an old (even then) Vespa SS150 back in (19)75. Now that was scary.

Everything else has been easy after that.

There was a boy, who owned a bike, this bike was "The One" for him. It's year was 2004. This fictional character once saw 292 on the speedo and knew that if he lost some fictional kilograms, oneday he would see 300+ (okay okay, 299, fecking speedo limit ). The day he saw this, was all legal btw

    I did 227.38 kph.

    See here for proof

    Arrow Well.

My bike is not quick enough to be considered a hoon? Speed tested at about 185km/hr, but normal velocity is more about 105km/h on the open road and a bit faster on most courners
Those who insist on perfect safety, don't have the balls to live in the real world.

    I saw 78km/h on the clock of a FR50, and almost 50km/h on a FA50.

    Scary
