SRX 250 Speedo

Hey all.

It's been a while.
Recently the speedo on my srx broke. I have a new one but I'm having trouble getting the old on out because of the trip meter reset. Any ideas or tricks to getting it out.

Also have checked workshop manual - nothing
Also did a search on here and nothing.

I presume you mean you can't pull the little black knob out?

I suspect it may have been glued in. They often wear or break and then won't 'engage'. A spot of glue fixes that, but then of course you can't pull it out. Normally they should just pull off.

If you have a new gauge why not just smash the knob off?
