You're missing the point. I have an RF900R. It'll do 130 in first. It doesn't mean I ride everywhere in first does it?that bike would be capable of 170 in first, 200 in second ,230 in third,

3rd, 4th. 5th are the gears I mainly ride in on the open road, so I'd want to know how it does in these gears.
