The Tron has a bus lane!

Damn. I didn't know there was a buslane in the Tron...maybe there's even more than one!!!
Found it this morning. It has a dual use...

    1. It lets you filter up to the front of the line of traffic (like it should)
    2. It lets you really piss off all the car drivers who get irate because they think you are "cheating" by using the bus lane...

I hope motorbikes are allowed to use it as well. If not, ask the council to allow it.

I feel bad when I cut to the front of the cue.
Mostly because I have to ROCKET into a gap (If they even allow a cheater one), and their faces are in some kind of twisted angry/jealous mix.

Basically, if you're too slow to start moving in a lane when I'm near... That spot is miiiine
Some people just can't seem to comprehend that they do not have the right to be unoffended in their lives.

No worries. Never had any problems with the bus lane. If you do see one of those guys that monitor tape the bus lane to bust sneaky cars, and are afraid he'll get your plate as you ride by, just hoist the front as you go by. Can't see your plate when it's facing the ground

It's REALLY dumb, y'know. You're actually disadvantaging other motorists LESS by lane-splitting than by sitting in the queue.
Think about it: Sitting in the queue, you're taking up a few metres, and adding to the delay that occurs as everyone leaves a gap, takes off, accelerates up to speed. If you sneak to the front, you're away before the first car/truck in the lane has even started to move.
Just think of it as a Public Service.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

I am pretty sure I have seen others too... buggered if I can remember where though. I will have to make a point of noticing next time.

all of the bus lanes over here {all as in they are all on one road } are marked as being bike lanes too,but it feels unsafe riding passed cars on the inside.feels much safer splitting

Only question is, is it allowed for Motorcycle use, most are, but to be pinged for using it when not sposed to could hurt a bit.

Its pointless for motorcycles to use it IMO. The roundabout is tiny and the queues are only big when school starts and finishes.
You can see the bus lane here on the other side of the road and the tiny roundabout here where you would have to merge and piss off other cars because you can't be bothered to wait the 10 seconds in the queue! (no offence slofox i bet you were just caught up in the moment )

I believe motorcycles are entitled to use the bus lane on Hukanui Rd - unsure if same applies for other bus lanes (if there are any others)
