Too true, but you also know we can do those speeds on the freeway.

Did any of you other South Africans know why they built our road so long, wide and strait? It was in the event of a civil uprising that the military could then land any plane, anywhere.

275? Wow - can't imagine it would be possible to do anything like that in NZ, cos that would just be impossible on our roads to do without killing yourself or everyone else on the road!

    Pretty good effort though.

    heheheheheheh

Madboy, has anyone ever told you, you spray sarcasm when you talk?hehe

Sels1. Roadside court, is a mobile court-house. When they pull you over, they don't waste any time giving you paperwork to appear in court, etc... They march you straight over, and you get your appearance on the roadside.

It's a relatively new thing I think, never came across it before I left, which was just over 4 years ago.

Hmm, it would be almost worth it to save up $6888 and go over, back to the "mother land", and try my luck at 300! Shosholoza!

Wow, that is one hell of a speed. The roads in NAtal are like cash cows for the Natal Traffic Police, I know of some bikers who wake up on a Sunday, ride down to Durban for lunch and ride back up to Johannesburg for supper with more than enough time to spare, and that is a 1200 km round trip. The fastest I've ever heard of anyone getting to Durban from Johannesubrg (600kms) was just under 3 hours, don't know what sppeds he was travelling though.

he was fined R30 000 for speeding, and R1 000 for not stopping
so he gets less for evading the law?? seems a bit wierd only cost him a fraction more to attempt a runner, not quite like that in NZ
