    5.56's a lubricant/oil, 808's silicon.

Bloody good stuff, I use it in my chain oiler too, keeps water out of the chain especially crossing fords, rain etc! Twice as good as anything else!

Use CT-80 to clean my bike, be prepared to wear shades when admiring.

Dont coat the whole thing in silicone or crc - you will only attract more dirt.

Clean bike with turps - fill up an old sprayer bottle and use an old toothbrush. Squirt it on to rinse off the dirt. Once clean - go over whole bike with a light spray of car cleaner (pref one without a wax) then hose off - simply to remove the film left by the turps. Run the bike upto temp to dry it off.

A dry engine and electrical system is better than one coated in crc with bits of grit stuck to it.

Once your done, it's simple job to put a few drops of light oil on all the moving parts to keep things tip top.

Naa works great. Heck if your paint is that rubbish that a bit of turps strips it - then it's better off than on isn't it!

I clean all my engines, car/bike whatever with turps - they are all painted and never had a problem.

Fair enough, the voice of reason.

Once mixed, how long does it hold it's cleaning power?

I.E. If you use it commercially, you would probably use it up pretty quickly.

Is that the actual name of the product "Red degreaser"?

Have you tried CT-80? Can you compare the two products?

i would be careful with what you put on the motor/exorsed like crc due to fire risk. i would just wipe it with a rag. silicon is good to polish with but dust will stik to it like shit to a blankit
