Great!![]()
But how do you clean the mirrors?![]()
Liv.
if truly punting through some hard stuff - does this not detract from your forward field of vision?
What dang use is a mirror you can,t see yourself in![]()

You would need neck muscles like a pro wrestler to cope with the extra buffeting caused by the "Patio" style mirror system.. unless you only wore it around town.... Ponsonby etc. lol![]()

Looks like a good idea to me and the design of it doesn't add too much to the top of the helmet so I wouldn't think there was too much extra wind load.
Cheers
Merv
I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I can't focus on something clear enough for it to be any use unless it's at least 6 inches from my eyes![]()
I imagine it would be similar to the old visors (like the rally guys still wear) on open face helmets. Excellent in bright sunlight at low speed but a mission at speed.
My neck has gone up two shirt sizes just getting back on the bike after a few years away and fighting the wind. (for the benefit of those who don't know I don't fit behind my fairing even lying down over the tank.)![]()
I don't think you have to worry about focus because you aren't focussing on the mirror bit right in front of you but the actual objects in the distance behind you.Originally posted by Big Dog

Your second point about visors doesn't apply if this is really what the helmet looks like as the mirror is behind the face shield.

See, told you someone would correct me if I was wrong![]()
Now I think it is an excellent idea... provided it still protects the old noggin![]()

Actually I have recently been taking more interest in whats going on behind.
I always check the rear views under brakes and Its scarry what mehem goes on behind me. Like chances are, If I made a quick stop the joker behind has a bigger issue only seeing me little brake lights.
they market a wireless helmet brakelight check out MCN.
well I always pull right ride so a non attentive car can sail past me and hit the thing in front.
we look out for ourselves and the impact from behind.
Anything that tells us what happening behind will be tomorrows must have.
The last time I got hit only time actually in the last five years it was by a suzuki sv650.
following on line.
Your never to old for a sportsbike
LMAO Wkid you'd be so busy looking at yourself you wouldn't even get away from the lights mate!!!!Originally posted by wkid_one

Power is nothing without control.
OK,I like it.
Where,when an how much????
So does this mean that all the blind spot areas are covered. Do you need to look behind if you make a lane change?
