This is one Jamie took of me crossing Nolan's Brook on Cape York, very very slowly carefully and nervously, since the onlookers had told us: -
    1. The gaps between the logs were just the right width to let a bike wheel drop through.
    2. The water was a bit over 2 meters deep
    3. The last guy who dropped his bike in there took 2 days to fish it out
Of course Jamie just rode across like it was the plank exercise on a basic handling skills course.

These are a few I took of Jamie crossing the aptly named "Mistake Creek" and proving beyond all doubt the DR electrics are not as waterproof as we thought

To tell the truth, I don't know for sure. I don't think that we drained the carb but I can't be sure of it. I do know that she fired up completely happy, after sitting for about 25 minutes (once we got her out of the water that is).

I'm tempted to "T" the float bowel breather up into the airbox so it dosn't stall in longer water crossings.

You want to connect your bowel to your airbox?????
Won't this mean that you talk shit all the time, instead of just occasionally???
The bad breath that it will surely cause, defies description but might be useful for getting rid of unwelcome visitors.
Actually, I think I will stop this theme right there as I can think of several possible side effects (many involving methane) that would provide ample fuel for a whole different thread.
    Do you smoke?
