my girlfriend of the time reckoned the 350 Moto Morini she owned was the best bike ever - a nice little v-twin set on "gentle"

    Thumbs up Urban myth?

well it was a bit of a thing when I was a teenager (about 25 to 30 years ago), we'd undo the stitching in the seat and cut a small channel in the foam, cut the end of a broom handle off and lay it in there - just a short piece under the pillion part of the seat.
Apparently it helped transfer the vibrations thru better, not sure if it made a difference but everyone swore the girls were more up for it than before?

But I think it probably had more to do with the fact that for most young ladies getting on the back of bike with the local hoon was rebellious, risky and the ride was a little exciting!

Heard of something similar...it was a half tennis ball instead of end of broom handle and you also cut the pockets out of your jeans.....

Well I get the jollies from my V-Twin....well more of the thrill sort when I hear that engine roar. Can't say I can comment on the vibration part as I try not to think that I have a rear cylinder under my seat as I rid.

the answer to the question is yes.

Do all women get off on all bikes? No? Most engines have rev range where they vibrate just that bit more (on the RF it was just over 3,000rpm) and that did wonders for some pillions, but it wasn;'t the intended purpose for the ride (c cell's and a dick shaped piece of plastic are a lot cheaper by the hour than a 900cc in line four doing 3,000... ish rpm).

Of course you can't pop out to get a coffee on a vibrator... without getting arrested anyway...

the VTR1000 has a small hard back seat so should give a good buzz too...

I like my 2 stroke... there are several reasons he's called Rangi!

To be honest the thing that I get the biggest "thrill" out of are Rotary cars... and V8s..... so maybe I need to finally trade my Hornet in on a nice growly Ducati.

Twice in one post, good effort! I have forgotten about the bike now, and researching the "right pair of jeans"...and I will be on the lookout for the slight lean forward from now on so that I can nod knowingly

Interesting responses, some good honesty from the KB gang...I'm feelin the love...even if it is rather squdgy. My colleague definately confirmed the phenomenon (actually I wouldnt have posted otherwise and would have just put the concept down to my rather deviant mind).

Amazingly so far I have only had one red rep out of this - and that was from a known completely anal rummaging red neck tosser taking a break from telling us all what a legend he is (well at least we got a break from the latter while he was repping)

Not riding. Sometimes as pillion. Depends on the seat.
