I have a fuel card, So thats the petrol and food taken care of.

And....uh......The inspiration to go on the ride came while sparks were flying, as in, fuck, I got to get the fuck away from here for a couple of days.

Its a bloody long way. Yes, you can do it - sleep on the ferry, and maybe stack a nap at 98TLS in Oamaru. I understand it, bet many others do too - the madness of the challenge.

Gotta tell you its cold and wet down south at the moment, although the weather has been like spring lately, certainly warming up.

I did Blenheim to Invercargill in May in 13 hours with 10min stops every hour or so. TBH I was shagged but a Wangavegas man like you - no worries!

Let me know if you come down, should be around for bits of the weekend.

But.......what does D say.....???

Yeah, That's the plan.If I just left then the shit fight on my return would be a world ender. I figure she may be glad to see the back of me for a couple of days anyway.

Having said that, I've never yet been correct in my assumptions of what she may want
