Yay Im on the road again.... Thanks to....

I would like to publicly thank a very special person on this site.
Who went out of their way to help me get my bike all fixed again.


I discovered after the last bike run I was on (Wellsford last weekend) that I had 4 broken spokes all in a row. It was throu this site that this wonderful man stepped up to help me out. I went around to see him and he then also discovered that I had also lost the chain clip.

I ordered in the parts and when they arrived in I went to his place to discover that they were the wrong spokes.... so he was such a kind gentleman that he took me to look at another wheel after taking off the back wheel. But low and behold they didnt have one in......

So I then weighed up the different costs... and decided to go and order in the complete set of spokes..... $108 from aussie.
Well the plane was flying fast - ordered them Thursday morning 11.30am and they were here by Friday 5pm.

So this morning I went around with the new spokes and he had already removed the tyre off the wheel and taken out the broken spokes.

After he spent a couple of hours resetting the spokes (and I learnt alot how its done) I now have my bike back on the road.... there surely is a art to respoking a wheel.

So this is a public thank you to Speedpro.
You truely are a wonderful man.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart

Mate, the beers are on their way real soon.

PS: If anyone has a virago 250cc and needs back wheel spokes...look no further.... pm me anytime. I have plenty of them.

Yeah I get them on the BMX after hitting something or falling off..
