Yeah Vicki did a short stint at Ruapuna one lunchtime, but I don't think it's the Tambi in the tyre pics ....is it??

I think it's a certain 848 after a bit of tracktime (the Tambi has no fairing and a black sidestand)

ohh thts good cos the tyre in question aint really that trashed, Id expect yours to be showing more wear... funny how people rate a rideer by the chicken strip when in fact it means squat. (can mean bad riding if all tyre used and no balling)
    cheers DD

Certainly is. I think it's an old racing colour. I've seen it on the old V7. Don't quote me but I think they must paint it silver first and the colour is translucent. Think they're starting to do the new V7 the same way too.

Wow, all those Italian bikes gathered together in one spot just beautiful.

...bet the local bike shop service departments had a field day fixing the inevitable amount of clunkers that broke down, well mainly the Guzzi's

Yep, or as I'm lead to believe. Something about them orignaly being disigned as waters pumps or along the lines like that....nah just pulling ya chain

Though I did see one Guzzi rider blow his engine at Manfield few weeks ago, the rider was just laughing and making engine sounds while a guy was pushing his bike back into pits. Hard case I tell ya.

    I know it was a p/t.

Mine HAS actually broken down from stupid little things before.
They have some really brilliant and some real crap engineering (well the V11's do).

Although I did organise to have a Guzzi freighted out from Milford a couple of years back....was the battery's fault not the bike....
