Ya all a buch of wimps, 500km in a day is a peice of cakeRe the DB1k there is 7 doing the one day Small Bore Challange, 4 doing the "normal bike" one day ride and 22+ a few!!! doing the two day 500km ride. Gonna have to stop calling the the DB1k and just call it is DB (Dad's Beer) ride from now on!

Yep, only flat at the bottom of the tyre.The tyre goo didn't seem to like 120 kmph plus, started to ooze a bit, but at lower speeds the pressure held fine. Tyre is still holding 22psi parked in the shed.
We opted to miss out the Onamalutu climb on the leg home, but so was still 7 "major" Summits....depending on which ones you decide to count.
Dovedale Saddle, Mt Arthur, Berrymans Ridge, Kings Ridge, Mt Robert, Mt Patriarch, and Mangatapu... but we could count Spooner Tops as well? Who's really counting, good day out anyways.....
