    License endorsed "supervisor conditions apply"

Anyone know what "supervisor conditions apply!" mean on my daughters temporary hand-written 1,6L license?

edit: one phone call to NZTA clears it up. In a car she must have a fully licensed driver with her in the front seat (as we understood the case to be.)

With regards to riding a motorcycle, no such supervisor must be present - it is just for the car.

Sigh, so we knew all that to begin with.. why they hand-write an ambiguous statement like that on the DL puzzles me. Of course, she will be supervised on her bike for the next few weeks.

"read what Steve says. He's right."
"What Steve said pretty much summed it up."
"I did axactly as you said and it worked...!!"
    "Wow, Great advise there DB."

Looking back at my first temporary car learners, it says the same thing. Although it's stamped on. My bike L doesn't though. Bit strange to put it on a bike license.

Yeah, which is why I queried it.

She got her learner car and bike license the same day, so thats the reason.

That fully licensed driver must have held, and currently hold a 1F for at least 2 years.
