Oz- buying used motorbikes online/ through traders

    Any advice?

I want to go there soon (in about two months) and am salivating at the thought of changing bike. As ever (being a penniless scumbag) I will have to buy used, so thought I'd have a look for the equivalent of Trademe/whatever to see what the go is. Google threw up buggerall so I thought it might be worth asking you guys.
Sorry to mention A*****lia on this otherwise clean and sanitary forum.

Oh, and (one funny allowed per poster) where's good to ride around there?Still not decided quite where to blight, but it's looking like Brisbane.
    Random other advice welcome, too.

Oz is a big place with lots of long straight roads. I recommend a Hayabusa.

If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?

Yeeesssss. Okay, a, er, Hyabusa. But I asked where to ride, not what?
Thanks for the other links, chaps. And if I see a cheap orange Hyabusa I'll know that it was Meant To Be and will send pictures for the general amusement of all here. Off to look at bikes!
    Cheers....

    melbourne to ?adelaide

The coast road is quite bendy as I recall. I drove it a few years back before I got into bikes. We were in a bit of a hurry to catch the 12 Apostles before sunset and just made it.

    12 Apostles?

I know they must be some sort of land feature, but if you're an ignorant foreigner like me, that makes for a *very* interesting statement...

The great ocean road is beautiful. Before you go bashing me, I'm ex SA (here 8 years and counting), went to Melbourne with parents a year or so ago. Not quite as good as some of the stuff in the South Island, but a different kind of beauty.

Pic attached of the 12 apostles (well, some of them). Hope they lived up to your expectations
