Bollocks, get of your arse and go get it
That looks fun guys!! Nice photos. One day I might have a adventure bike
On ya! Thanks....Can you upload the tracks and routes without Mapsource then by just saving them as .kmz? I have Google Earth Pro, I cannot see how to upload the tracks without opening Mapsource first, then using the send to link...
I have since found out that if I upload everything to the GPS I can transfer it all to Google Earth directly. I can then save the folder to browse. Really it is quite clever...
Mark, if you save the files from Mapsource as .GPX rather than the .GDB format Mapsource defaults to you can still use them in Mapsource and they can be loaded straight into GoogleEarth.
That means you don't to do all the import/export faffing about as Googelearth supports the .GPX format.

OK, will do that from here on in...
Looks like I missed an awsome ride.
Great pics Anthrax.
I will certainly not want to miss the next one.I hope
Hi Mark, thanks for organising a great ride, I hope you guys had a good ride at Taharoa after Deano & I had left. Did Andy hassle the locals?
Yes parts of that sand got the better of me, when you shut off the throttle on the big KTM all the weight transfterred forward and front washed out, was good fun on that bit of track all the same. The more I ride this thing the better it responds. But shit picking it up really is tough, twice.![]()
See you all at the next South Aucklan Gravel Bash, I sure Iain is looking for some water crossings to keep up the standards.
Thanks guys i had an excellent ride yesterday and it was great that the weather played its part.
No bikes were harmed in the filming of the stream crossings either, although some one did get wet feet
Think i may have upset a few of the locals at taharoa but im not going to lose tooooooo much sleep over that![]()
Here for a good time, not necessarily a long time
