oh yeh thats not far at all for ya! is the mx track rideable?! Last time I went ( 3 years ago ) it was so huge

huge... are you joking?I'd say its on the small size compared to the likes of Tokoroa or Harrisville.
I spent a good summer riding there almost 3 times a week but like flyingcr it was because it was so close to hamilton. Personally it's a last resort riding spot for me now days. The mx track is slick, dusty, too narrow and the jumps all have no landings.
But hey maybe i'm just fussy haha
