    I count 7 wires...
    Black is an earth
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

looking at the wiring chart I have for a CBX with a five pin ignition plug

Your ignition switch will be connected to the following
    Battery..Red wire
    fuse box..red/black yellow/black 10amp fuse
    parklight..brown
    lighting switch..Brown/white=power

your kill switch is normally bl and bl/w wires black one goes back to fuse box abd to rectifiers/regulators and black and white goes back to spark unit

Black is generally the earth but not from the ignition the black will lead into a brown to supply power to the parklight and other low voltage bulbs

just remember what your ignition is contected too thats where yopu need to start and back track would help if you have volt meter if not a problight will help determine thing

There are a couple of online wiring digrams for cz's on this page http://rajamolor.blogspot.com/2008/0...g-diagram.html

If they don't help you out let me know, as I have a cx manual tucked away somewhere
from these diagrams it appears as though Honda were using green as the earth wire.

    cheers
