I'm sure I'm getting faster and riding better but my placings don't seem to be improving!!
I had a blast yesterday though. It's sooo much fun!

but the rest of the field is to.
as you already know the answer but other readers may not, ill explain.
Give me my old CB or MT rep anyday, bloody awesome fun but a high maintance scedual is required, now with the intro of one wage and one sprog I did not have any cash for this maintance and or the time... sooooo the FXR would be the right option for me "WRONG" as you know I managed one of the 1st FXR blow ups so my theory was fucked. Once again I was rebuilding a engine, my theory of a cheaper option in racing being go out and push a button and go racing cos I could afford it failed. All seems good now tho heres hoping I can still aford to keep racing.
What were you running in them?
cheers DD
(Definately Dodgy)
Sometimes you wish it was easier, but if it was, everyone else would do it, then you remember you don't want to be like everybody else!![]()
He won a race at the last meeting in the wet
mmmmmmmmmm Pies, I like the way you think
How was the first outing on the GSX400?
I was having a problem turning in tight enough in the first couple of races on the TZR150 after having a bit of a think about it I decided it was to much knee down bullshit, pulled it up a bit in the last race and started going a bit quicker, it is the first Bucket I have ridden that I would rate higher than the mighty GN for ride-ability

I pumped them up at the gas station on the way to the track with the intention of checking it later. When I remembered, between race 2 and 3 (oops) the back was near 40 PSI and the front 35, I dropped them back to about 28 and it felt much better in race 3.
Absolutely!!Im on lil'Ms(Miriams)case, trying to feed her up tooo!
Had another awesome day!...do love it so much,do you hear me "woo hooing" as we head out?
Checked track conditions closely(phew!pleased i have got the 1st crash over with)And Ill find the wee delight responsible....
Thankyou so much guys!! for sorting the bike for me,I couldnt race without your help & support you are an awesome bunch!
Roll on next weekend!!!
The new toy was great fun. I just pootled along near the back feeling my way (being an old fart an all) the bike has never gone slower I'm sure!I really enjoyed the extra track time even if I did miss the last all in - I didn't realise they had scrapped the CAMS/Pre82 and combined the last two until too late
No doubt they announced that while the bucket all in was going...
I think the grin on my mug when I came in from practice said it all. It's a bit peaky, not much happens under 7k where it comes alive, and I need to concentrate on keeping the revs up, much like my FXR which is strong above 8k. Infact apart from the extra weight and grunt it's not so much different to the FXR, just gotta remember not to wind on the power too early out of the hairpin - gave myself a wee fright thereThe two should compliment each other well given the similarity - no real mind shift between bikes.
Both bikes are known quantities and the only reason either of them were not further up the feild on Sunday is down to the pilot, so the pilot has gotta get his act together and the extra track time/experience/confidence/relaxing etc will help. Any advice greatly appreciated. Cheers.
