All you toughened up Coro adventurers are causing a problem with my self esteem. I may need some counselling.

You'd love it mate! It was bucketing down when we went and it was great fun!
Well worth a trip for you I reckon!
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

I reckon thread title says it all. Faint hearted will baulk at big bogs, deep rivers, steep slippery rocky climbs & tow ropes, getting back to car absolutely exhausted etc (In the dark FFS?). Excellent stuff. All you guys are raising the bar by taking this on, well done.
(cheers Xen, Vazza, theoretically really like the idea of it, but money & motivation lacking, so might be out of toad as well. Still paying off last years tax! I'm going for 1st place in grumpy bastard championship)

Is anyone planning on doing the wires track over summer?
Really keen to do it (well...try)
I'm sure I can find my way to it but the trail is another challenge.
    Any takers?

I'll post here and then maybe make another thread with a poll and date maybe?

Just itching to ride. Thinking if I should go and night trail ride around the local bushes in the dark, by myself at 9pm.....
    Or riverhead?
    Woodhill? muriwai? anywhere?
I'm picking if you are there in the dark and keep yourself safe and "responsible" you could do lots in summer when it's not too cold.

Pm me if you have any ideas of unusual riding places..... I'm down for anything.

I was thinking about doing the wires/gutbuster next week. Not much on silverbullet so it could be a good weekend for it.
